The GEWC High School Scholarship The Graham Chamber of Commerce and the 2006 You Lead class have joined together to create The GEWC High School Scholarship. Currently there are not any financial resources for high school students wanting to participate in dual credit college courses. These students do not qualify for the governmental financial aide that traditional college students can access. In order to meet the needs of the students at Graham High School that want to attend college while attending high school ~ these organizations have established an avenue to raise money for scholarships for students each year. The $200 individual scholarship will be awarded to a GHS junior classified student who meets a financial need and qualifies to take a dual credit college course. The scholarship will be paid directly to the college. The student can qualify to continue to receive the scholarship for three additional semesters. Donations can be made to The GEWC High School Scholarship fund. Thank you for supporting the students of our community by either giving to the scholarship fund or by locating students who can benefit from this opportunity. Students interested in applying for the scholarship must complete the common GHS scholarship application and return the application to the GEWC office. The GEWC director will coordinate with the Chamber of Commerce to award scholarships.
